1990 Prevost/Country Coach RV Bus Conversion for Sale By Owner.

This was a new coach when it was converted to an RV. Was never a bus. It is 40′ long, 8.5′ wide and 13.5′ high.
It has the advantage of the tag axle (the back axle in the rear that only has one tire on each side) so if you decide to tow something behind the coach, you don’t have to worry about overloading the drive axle. These coaches were built to run a million miles or more, so it’s just getting broken in. The coach has approximately 260,000 miles on the chassis, but the engine and the transmission were replaced with factory re-manufactured about 45,000 miles ago. It is powered with a Detroit 8V-92 two stroke diesel with electronic fuel injection that produces 500 horsepower. The transmission is a 5 speed Allison Automatic and shifts flawlessly.

This is a classic coach with polished stainless steel lower body panels and and custom paint on the upper half. It has Corian counter-tops, Marble tile floor in the entrance, galley and bathroom and carpet in the living area and bedroom. There are no slide-outs. It had a two burner Propane cooking stove, a Sharp Convection/microwave unit and a Norcold two-way Refrigerator/freezer that runs on 110V electric and Propane. It has a 3 cylinder Onan 15 KW generator that will run the entire coach. It also has 4 New Group 8D Deep Cycle batteries, (Installed in April 2018) that power a 2000Watt inverter that powers the entire left side of the interior of the coach with power. I had a full service done on it in April, 2018 as well. New oil and filters, lubed, brakes adjusted (55% lining still left), New belts replaced in June, 2017 along with all the coolant pipe fittings and coolant, a new Power Steering Pump, new glow plugs in the generator (helps it start when it’s cold).

All the plumbing and toilet were replaced just prior to my purchasing it in July, 2015. It had a new starter installed just after we bought it. The ignition switch was hanging up and leaving the starter motor running. Replaced the ignition switch and installed a push button starter button to eliminate it from happening again.

This coach is the Cadillac of motorhomes. It is quiet, smooth riding and a joy to drive. It has a self-leveling air suspension system so when you get into a park, you flip a switch, press a button and it levels itself. The coach was originally owned by a fellow who owned a motorcycle racing team. He would tow a trailer with the motorcycles in it to a race track and set up for a weekend or week. The generator supplied power for everything and he had oversized holding tanks for water installed. Fresh Water is 160 gallons, Gray water is 100 gallons and so is the Black tank. Fuel is 150 gallons.

$65000.00 Or Best Offer. We are negotiable on the price…. but I’m not going to give it away. Please keep your lowball figures to yourself. I have the clear title in my possession. I don’t want anything in trade. The Bronco in the photos is not included in the sale of the coach and is no longer available. No warrantee implied or expressed. Sold as is, where is.
